The Experience

The sophomore iteration of Jazz at the Ranch features a versatile array of talent: blues guitar virtuoso Chris Cain, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Sarah McKenzie, renowned SF crooner Nicolas Bearde with Full Spectrum Jazz, the acclaimed 7-piece Latin Jazz Collective with John Nava, and a very special band to be announced in August!

Jazz at the Ranch provides a unique opportunity to experience the magic of Rancho Cielo up close while enjoying world-class entertainment. All proceeds benefit Rancho Cielo’s Art Enrichment Program and mental health services.

Tickets include a pre-performance happy hour with a delectable menu of hor d’oeuvres prepared by Monterey chefs and served by culinary students. Guests can enjoy their appetizers with fine local wine and beer on the beautiful deck of Rancho Cielo’s Drummond Culinary Academy. Concerts are held at the Sally Hughes Church Amphitheater, where the sightlines across the Salinas Valley provide a stunning backdrop to watch the sunset.

Our 2023 lineup featured 11-time Grammy Award winner and former lead vocalist Tony Lindsay, acclaimed jazz guitarist Bruce Forman & his cowboy jazz and western bebop band Cow Bop, Monterey Jazz Festival Regional All-Star Band & Vocal Ensemble, Youth Orchestra Salinas (YOSAL), Jamaican jazz artist and Grammy Award nominee Monty Alexander and jazz/cabaret singer Paula West.
