Rancho Cielo provides a secure haven to empower 16–24-year-old underserved youth from Monterey County with the opportunity to earn a high school diploma alongside hands-on vocational training. Our goal is for graduates to break the cycle of poverty, become productive members of our local workforce and community, earn sustainable living wages, and advance economically.
Such an endeavor is not easy, which is why we support students’ essential needs and well-being through wrap-around services — and remove barriers to their success. Our programs include:
- Holistic case management and on-site professional counseling
- From-scratch nutritious meals prepared on site daily
- Transportation to/from Rancho Cielo
- Driver’s education, enrichment programs and more
We’ve all heard, “It takes a village,” and in our case it is true. Thanks to your generosity, we can continue to fund 100% of students’ academic and vocational education at Rancho Cielo (~$30K per student/1-year tuition).
