Rancho Cielo’s perpetually evolving programs always have exciting projects to share!
Students are constantly innovating and building in Ag Technology & Mechatronics. They’re putting the final touches on a drip irrigation greenhouse for their Controlled Agricultural Environments (CAE) course in Spring 2024. Daffodils are growing right now, but the self-contained greenhouse will be an adequate space to grow just about anything when it’s complete.
The Welding & Fabrication program is quickly growing in popularity. As sparks fly, students’ imaginations soar! There are so many possibilities! When they’re not learning how to navigate the ins and outs of welding, students are busy constructing welding booths.
Meanwhile, in Auto & Diesel Repair, Monterey County’s future mechanics are delving into the blossoming Classic Car Restoration program. The recent focus: restoring an MG to its original 1952 glory for the 2024 Culinary Round Up.
